"This hotel was over priced for the quality of the rooms. The furniture was far from "boutique", more like Ramada Inn, except for the bedspreads. The sink was cracked, the counters worn, the towels thin. This place should not be called "boutique" just because they have a decent lobby. I was disappointed."

"The staff was very warm, very helpful. My suite was one of the most elegant, sexy hotel rooms I've ever experienced! When I opened the door for the first time and saw the baby grand piano in the living, my breath caught....but to top it off with a spectacular hot tub in the bedroom....well, I'm hooked! I'll go back, especially when I'm not travelling alone on business! A great romantic, sweet, elegant hotel."

The elegant, newly renovated lobby invites guests with its limestone and black marble flooring, deep blue suede wall covering, rich mahogany arches and moldings and plush midnight blue couches. This European, boutique-style hotel boasts a deluxe continental breakfast served adjacent to a relaxing sundeck with its ideal location in the heart of La Jolla. There are 73 guestrooms, including 4 luxurious two-room Jacuzzi suites. All rooms feature bathrobes, coffee maker with Starbuck's Coffee®, in-room safes, iron & ironing boards, and refrigerators.
